I first began my work with the Kyiv Symphony Orchestra and Chorus in January of 2005. The time we've spent working together has been quite a learning experience both culturally and musically. The KSOC recordings of my symphony "Vietnam 1975" and other pieces have been the best recordings to date and I am eternally grateful for their virtuosic touch on my music.

As Chief Executive Officer of the Kytasty Foundation I had the great pleasure and honor of having the Kyiv Symphony Orchestra and Chorus record Hryhory Kytasty's masterpieces on the recently released CD Battle-Victory-Glory. The instrumental virtuosity and beautiful character of voices was masterfully brought out by the very talented conductor Taras Myroniuk. Again I would like to express my deepest appreciation and thanks to Roger McMurrin for having shared the enormous talents of the Kyiv Symphony Orchestra and Chorus and thus help make this historic recording possible.

I was so fortunate to have the opportunity to work with the Kiev Symphony Orchestra and Chorus in June of this year (in Kiev!). I'm so grateful to the Lord for calling me to record a CD entitled "Classical Praise" with KSOC, and to all those who supported and enabled me to accomplish this vision. Roger and Diane are incredible, and the orchestra and chorus folks are not only wonderful musicians, but wonderful people too (especially my producer and translator Taras!). It was interesting for me to see the mission up close too - I never saw such a busy place! What really struck me was how many lives had been changed as a result of MMK. And Kiev is so beautiful and charming. This was a very demanding but very rewarding experience for me (recording 14 songs in a week), and I pray that many are blessed by the music we made together!"
